LÖWER Timber Construction Sander HBS 400 ub

Single-sided belt sanding machine, sanding from below, designed for sanding beams, laminated beams and other bar-shaped wooden workpieces. Includes reversible operation for sanding in both directions—forward and backward—resulting in substantial time savings when sanding three or four sides of a workpiece.

Special sanding shoe system allows full-surface sanding while adapting to workpiece tolerances via adjustable air pressure. Timed insertion of sanding shoe over the incoming workpiece edge, adjustable via timer.

Workpiece feed via robust conveyor belt, driven by rubber-coated feed rollers, immersion controlled by non-contact sensor and pneumatic cylinder (independent of workpiece thickness).
