The TAMAR Optical Microscope ID071 is used for the optical inspection of samples with a maximum size of approx. 780x650mm² (substrate size) in the PLG cleanroom.
Substrate size: complete substrate size (780x650mm²)
Objective: The objective lens focuses the light emitted from the observed object into a real image for the user.
Brightfield mode (BF): The light from the microscope is directed through the objective onto the sample.
High resolution, low contrast
Darkfield mode (DF): Illumination mode for increased contrast, high contrast for edges and particles. Principle: The center of the incident light beam is covered, only peripheral light passes through the objective and strikes the sample from the side. Edges and particles thus appear bright, while the smooth background remains dark.
