The TAG Artena 16-channel Weigher and Filler is a fully automated, multi-product weighing machine designed for accurate tray-portioning of loose, delicate small and medium-sized fruit and vegetable products. The machine is integrated into the production line upstream of packaging and labeling machines.

Products are loaded in bulk onto the weigher’s conveying belt, then directed onto the feeding belts by a dynamic hopper and deposited into trays. The trays are destacked and distributed onto the indexed conveyor. During filling, which takes place in four steps, trays are weighed in-line thanks to a patented technology.

The machine is managed via a touch-screen control panel, providing complete oversight of its functions.
