KP 900 Automatic Crosscut Saw is an ideal solution for material preparation in pallet production and other wooden packaging products. On average, this saw can process 27–30 m³ of pallet cuttings or approximately 20,000 pallet blocks per 8-hour shift, depending on the cross-sectional dimensions of the material being processed. The saw can be operated by one or two workers, depending on the nature of the material, which is manually loaded into the machine.

Basic Cutting Modes
1. Manual Mode
Each cutting length is set by moving the material using the buttons on the panel or by setting the length value on the control panel’s dial. Cutting is initiated by pressing a button on the display. This method is suitable for individual, sequential cuts.

2. Automatic Mode

a) One cutting size is set for the entire length of the input material. After starting the cut by pedal, the machine automatically cuts the entire material to the preset size. When the cycle is complete, the feeder returns to the default input material length. This mode is suitable for producing pallet blocks. The advantage is a fast transition between different values when frequently changing the input material size.

b) A desired combination of cutting sizes is set for the entire length of the input material. After starting the cut by pedal, the machine automatically cuts the material into these length combinations. Upon completion, the feeder returns to the preset input material length. The machine memory can store up to 10 programs with 10 lengths each. Programs can be easily overwritten, edited, added, or deleted. This mode achieves high material yield and is especially useful for producing cuttings for a wide range of packaging products. In automatic mode, front and rear trimming can be set.

In the standard configuration, the saw is LEFT-oriented, i.e., the material flow is from right to left.

The automatic feeding system is included in the saw’s basic configuration. This pusher device moves along a precision linear rail with bearings, ensuring long service life for the linear guide and highly accurate positioning of the workpiece for the cut.

Integrated side and top pressure ensures stable fixation of the material during cutting, securing it to both the worktable and the rear support. This guarantees precise, perpendicular cuts without unwanted material movement.

A clear LCD touchscreen display offers easy and convenient operation. The individual control elements are easily visible, do not fatigue the operator’s eyes, and provide an excellent overview. Maximum ergonomics and bespoke software provide the operator with full control over the machine.

The infeed worktable allows the operator to comfortably sort and prepare material before it is moved into the feeding area, thus eliminating downtime and strenuous handling. The table is inclined at 8° and is equipped at the end with a safety flap to prevent unintentional ejection of material outside the operator’s reach.

The basic fixed outfeed table is two meters long and partly covered by the saw’s guarding. Operators can safely remove the cut material without being endangered by potential offcuts, splinters, or risking injury from the saw blade. The table incline is 8°.
