MAIR TFA3/D/12.5 Double-Ended Tube Facing and Beveling Line

The MAIR TFA3/D/12.5 double-ended beveling line is a high-performance industrial solution designed for simultaneous internal and external facing and beveling of steel tubes. This system enables the machining of two tubes at the same time, finishing both ends with high precision and repeatability.

Developed for demanding production environments, this line is suitable for hot- or cold-rolled carbon steel tubes, pickled or zinc-aluminium coated. Thanks to its CNC-controlled beveling units, automated tube conveying and positioning system, and integrated chip evacuation and blow-through cleaning systems, the MAIR TFA3/D/12.5 guarantees high productivity, consistent surface quality, and significantly reduced manual intervention.

Scope of supply

The MAIR TFA3/D/12.5 double-ended beveling line is supplied complete and includes the following major equipment:

- Accumulation table for individual tube extraction via chain conveyors
- Walking beam transport system for synchronised transport of two tubes
- Two CNC beveling machines, each equipped with:
- High-strength welded steel frame
- Double beveling unit with servo-driven linear movement
- Tube clamping systems with interchangeable jaws
- Tool disc for facing and internal/external beveling
- Hydraulic toolholder locking system (Morse taper)
- Centralized lubrication system
- Toolholder presetting bench
- Control panel
- Chip conveyors located beneath the machines
- Motorised rollers and adjustable tube clamping stations
- Blow-through station for internal tube cleaning with length adjustment system
