The Fill 3D Ultrasonic Cutter enables three-dimensional contour trimming of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasonic-activated cutting systems.

Principle:
The linear axis gantry allows for precise guidance of the ultrasonic blade while requiring minimal space and simple kinematics.
With the Siemens CNC control 840 D, the trimming device can be programmed like a machine tool. Tool corrections or path modifications can be easily made directly at the machine.
The machine is equipped as standard with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit, but can be fitted with alternative systems. The blade features a dedicated rotary axis to enable tight radius cuts and reduce the need for other axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
