Heateelement Welding Machine HP60/40 by BRANSON
Drive: Hydraulic, supported by positioning and control systems.

The machine features its own vacuum pump.
Very few operating hours (approx. 6,800 hrs).
Usable heating element area: Width 600 mm x Depth 400 mm
Max. part dimensions:
Max. part width: 620 mm, max. part depth: 420 mm

(Height combinations possible, depending on contour)
Max. working temperature for contact process: 400°C
The modular frame construction of the machine allows for easy conversions. The side doors and the front door in the welding area can be opened easily (for straightforward tool changes).
The automatic safety lift door ensures high operator safety.
Temperature controllers in the operator panel feature actual/target value displays.
The control device is a Siemens PLC control unit. Machine control is via Siemens PLC (S7-300 controller).
The heating elements are equipped with temperature sensors for temperature regulation and for automatic safety shut-off in case of overtemperature.
The pin systems in the tool clamping areas enable reproducible positioning.
Advantages of heating element welding technology:
Reliable welding of workpieces with low or varying wall thicknesses is possible.
Low scrap rates due to precise and reproducible welds.
Thanks to precise time, temperature, and force control, even sensitive parts can be welded.
Almost all thermoplastics can be welded using this process.
Different types of plastics can be welded together (compatibility needs to be checked).
