Differences between the standard horizontal sawbed and the veneer-dedicated sawbed: the saw is equipped with the following specialized features:

- Reinforced housing at the saw head to prevent sawdust intrusion between flywheel and blade
- Extra protective shields due to higher speed/high volume dust extraction
- Double-cut blade
- Graphite blade guides (standard model uses bakelite)
- Special blade guide quick-change system
- Special protection for frame and sensors, plexiglass in saw head cover (different cover design from standard band saw)
- Additional sensors for blade deviation
- Compressed-air cleaning along the entire sawbed
