Status: under overhaul.

PORĘBA TR-135 lathe is a universal machine tool designed for both roughing and finishing operations. It is ideally suited for turning shafts as well as heavy, large-dimension workpieces.

The offered machine is currently in the process of a complete overhaul – the last photo shows its present stage. The remaining photos depict TR series lathes after overhauls performed by our company and delivered to end users – they serve as a reference for the target standard of quality and workmanship.

Scope of the overhaul:
- Complete disassembly of the lathe
- Refurbishment and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of trapezoidal lead screws and production of new bronze nuts
- Replacement of bearings and plain bushings, including new spindle bearings
- Grinding of bedways, carriage and cross slide guides, followed by hand scraping of matching surfaces (using friction materials)
- Refurbishment of tailstock quill
- Refurbishment of tool post

- Overhaul and modernization of lubrication and cooling systems
- Electrical scope: installation of a new control cabinet, complete new wiring and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors, including replacement of bearings
- New paintwork
- After completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our plant, machine installation on the foundation, leveling, and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to minimum safety requirements in accordance with applicable EU Directives
