Mathis THN 10988 Laboratory Thermosol System
Application
This foulard-dryer combination has proven highly effective in practical use. It is employed in a wide range of treatment processes in hot air such as drying, fixation, condensation, thermosoling, etc. This unit is used wherever a certain sample size is required, for example for producing sample collections or similar applications.
Dryer THA
If the foulard and dryer need to be used both in continuous operation and independently, the THA dryer type should be selected. This model comes equipped with an unwinding device at the dryer inlet and a take-off unit at its outlet. When operating the dryer individually, this element determines the fabric speed. This provides the advantage of being able to use the foulard and dryer independently and simultaneously. For drying, fixation, condensation, etc., the material is placed in the dryer.
If all of the aforementioned applications are to be guaranteed and the use of pin frames is also required for individual dryer operation, the THN type is preferable. The standard pin frames are suitable for a sample size of max. 50 x 50 cm (larger pin frames available on request). Various options are available: length-adjustable frames for woven fabrics, length- and width-adjustable holders for knitted fabrics and nonwovens, as well as clamping frames for films and paper.
Drying Chamber
The drying chamber, along with the electrical control box and operator panel, is mounted on a frame as a single unit. Excellent thermal insulation is achieved by double-wall construction with insulation in between. The nozzle field, 1300 mm in length, is divided into upper and lower nozzle sections. Using a control flap, the ventilation can be set for equal distribution above/below or adjusted for more airflow from the top or bottom.
Fan and Heating
Iedpju D Arijfx Aggetp
Powerful air circulation is ensured by a high-performance fan (capacity approx. 900–3500 m³/h) combined with well-matched heating power, resulting in optimal evaporation performance. A dual safety monitoring system minimizes maintenance requirements and increases the operational reliability of the dryer.
The heating capacity is designed for rapid heat-up and is automatically reduced after reaching the set temperature to avoid unnecessary power peaks. Temperature regulation is performed by an electronic measuring and control unit in the range of 20–250°C. Fresh air is supplied directly to the circulation fan via a separate fan; the desired volume can be set using a step switch.
