Finger jointing line for cross-sections up to 200 cm² (80/240 mm or 100/200 mm), with the following components:

1. HOWIAL Tipping Destacking Unit - SH/4t - 1.75x1.75x6.00 m - 4t – minimum length 2.50 m, semi-automatic bundle separation. For tilting wood stacks up to 45°. Electromechanical drive. Maximum stack dimensions 1.75 x 1.75 x 6.00 m. Maximum stack weight 4 t. Minimum wood length 2.5 m.

2. HOWIAL Lamella Singulator VE 1 to cross-cut saw. With pneumatically controlled tongues on which the material, after defect marking, is placed onto the conveyor below.

3. HOWIAL Inspection Roller Conveyor RO-1 Digital wood moisture measurement, control, and logging unit for automatic detection and control of wood moisture using a cycle measurement method based on the electrical resistance principle.

4. Gann DMT-8 Digital wood moisture measurement, control, and logging system for automatic acquisition and monitoring of wood moisture using the cycle measurement method based on the electrical resistance principle. System integrated in a large control cabinet, complete with inkjet printer.

5. HOWIAL Cross-cut Saw AS-30 B Pneumatically controlled under-table cross-cut saw, with 2 automatic feed units, automatic cross-cutting. Control via special photoelectric sensor for detection of fluorescent line markings. Automatic waste detection possible. Saw motor power 7.5 kW. Saw blade diameter 700 mm. Feed drive approx. 2 x 1.5 kW. Air pressure 8 bar. Feed speed max. approx. 60 m/min.

6. HOWIAL Conveyor for cut-off waste, with studded belt and guide plates. Belt width 350 mm. Belt length 2,000 mm. Belt speed 0.4 m/sec.

7. HOWIAL Double Roller Conveyor RO-2, 6.00 m long incl. lateral transfer, for finger jointing unit. Powered by round belt, all rollers driven. Lateral outfeed by chain conveyor. Ejection ± moisture right, conveying speed adjustable up to 100 m/min. Length approx. 6.00 m, roller width approx. 400 mm, diameter 112 mm.

8. Compact Finger Jointing Machine Cook Bolinder Technical data as per Cook Bolinder: wood width from 75 to 245 mm; thickness from 20 to 105 mm; infeed length from 1 m to 6 m; cross-sections from 30 cm² to 200 cm²; pressing force 5-22 t; spindle diameter 50 mm; joint profile 15/15; spindle speed approx. 6,000 rpm; total electrical power approx. 62 kW; machine weight approx. 9 t. OEST comb gluing system for PU adhesives. Modern Telemechanique PLC control.

9. HOWIAL Roller Conveyor with Destacking Powered roller conveyor with automatic ejector and hydraulically powered destacking arms. Technical data: H: 920 mm; L: approx. 12,000 mm.

10. Safety fence panels including safety switches.

11. Finger joint testing machine BSPLT-100 Testing machine for finger joint bending test as per DIN 1052-1/A1 and EN 385. Support spacing freely adjustable, mounted measuring scale, automatic calculation of bearing distances in the software. Fully automatic test sequence via mouse click on a PC (not included). Alternatively, test operation via buttons on the front panel. Any standard PC or laptop (Win 2000/XP) can be connected via supplied serial RS232 cable.
