1.1. STfp-rFan DER4 450/550/18.5-2 | incl. backdraft damper
Extraction fan, series "DER4" for clean air side installation, single-sided suction, direct drive. Main design features:
- Spiral housing made of galvanized steel sheet, pre-configured for horizontal installation in MultiStar series filters
- IEC standard motor
- High-performance impeller with backward-curved blades, designed for clean air extraction operation
- Suction nozzle with spark protection
- Impeller welded from steel, statically and dynamically balanced
Please note: For explosion protection reasons, the fan is NOT suitable for conveying explosive dust/air mixtures!

MultiStar filter in modular construction, with vibration cleaning, for installation outside of explosion hazard areas.
Design features:
- Galvanized, self-supporting steel sheet construction
- Pressure surge resistance 200 mbar (type tested, Dekra-Exam 342863200a-23ExA-Sip)
- Housing vacuum resistance max. 5500 Pa (pulsed stress must be avoided)
- EU type-tested rupture discs
- Weather protection cladding for the filter section with inspection door(s) and the required number of exhaust nozzles (depending on air volume)
- Fire resistance EW 90ef, MPA-tested
- Clean air nozzle, per project drawing
- BG-tested needle felt filter material, suitable for wood and paper dust as well as many other types of dust
- Filter hoses, externally loaded, with reusable internal support elements
- Filter cleaning takes place during operational breaks
- Expansion chamber for pre-separation
The permissible fill height of the expansion chamber varies greatly depending on the material properties (bulk density, grain size, tendency to bridge, etc.) and is approx. 400...700 mm.
