- Output transformers in 5-stage cascaded configuration
- Overall turns ratio selectable via taps: 1:7.7, 1:10, or 1:15
- Maximum output voltage 15kV with possible load capacitance of: * 6nF at 73μs pulse width, 2.5kHz rep rate; * 10nF at 103μs pulse width, 1.25kHz rep rate
- 1:1000 parallel voltage divider
- Overvoltage protection at approx. 20-23 kV via parallel spark gaps
- Thermistor for overtemperature detection in the first transformer stage
- Ground-side current measurement socket: 100 mV/A

Breakdown Detection, Testing

- If the maximum bridge currents for transformer control or the maximum power supply currents are exceeded, the high voltage is switched off.
- The unit is equipped with a resettable operating hours counter to record test duration.
