PREMOSYS VE-P-0001 Signal Converter

This module is used to convert encoder signals supplied by a standard commercial encoder. These signals can have a voltage level ranging from 5 to 24V DC. The signals are converted galvanically isolated to output levels of 5V DC with RS 422 characteristics.

Additionally, the pulse frequency of the output signals can be divided with selectable ratios of 1/2/4/8/16/32/64 and 128, and the counting direction can be reversed. This is accomplished simply by setting a DIP switch. The division ratios apply only to the encoder count signals (K1 and K2); the encoder zero signal is output undivided.
