Functionality:
The contaminated air is introduced tangentially into the cylindrical upper section, causing the air to rotate. Material is forced outward toward the circumference of the cyclone by centrifugal force and discharged through the opening at the bottom. The cleaned air exits the cyclone through the centrally positioned outlet pipe at the top.

The separation efficiency increases with feeding velocity, but so do the pressure drop and thus energy consumption. Therefore, it is important to find a good compromise.

We have developed a series of cyclones optimized for the filtration of large material volumes. They are therefore ideally suited for the wood, paper, recycling, grain, and feed industries.

Below, the cyclone can be selected with the correct size based on the required air volume and a typical pressure drop of around 1000 Pa.
