Construction & Technology

The heart of the CORMAK TORNADO 460x1000 lathe is its massive, precisely machined cast iron bed, ensuring stability under all conditions. The D1-8 spindle nose, mounted on a reinforced bearing system, guarantees high rigidity and smooth operation at speeds ranging from 25 to 2000 rpm. Thanks to hardened and ground gears, the headstock transmission is exceptionally durable and operates quietly.

Precision & Work Efficiency

The built-in X and Z axis digital position readout enables precise tool positioning and high repeatability of operations. The rapid traverse joystick makes carriage maneuvering easier and significantly reduces setup and finishing times. The thread dial indicator allows the operator to engage the carriage at the exact moment without the need to calculate thread leads.
